Vintage sealed ceramic book decanter of Rutherford's Blended Scotch Whisky — The Spirit of Scotland, Vol. III. Produced and bottled by Rutherford & Co. (Whisky Merchants) Ltd, Montrose, Scotland. This 4/5 pint decanter (86 proof) features the original tax strip, foil seal, and label intact and unbroken; however, the bottle is empty. Distributed in the U.S. by John Gross & Co., Baltimore, Maryland.
The decanter stands approximately 6.5" tall, 4.6" wide, and 1.75" deep. Book-shaped ceramic bottle with brown and black "leather-bound" design and embossed lettering.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with some minor surface wear and light age toning. Tax seal unbroken. Sold as collectible display only.
